Job summary

Qualifications

• NP/PA credentials required with Florida licensure as APRN or PA.
• National board certification for the applicable role.
• Current BLS certification and active practice in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient management under physician supervision.
• Co-manage surgical patients and participate in rounds with the team.
• Assess patients, develop diagnoses, and craft treatment plans.
• Perform/assist in surgical procedures as credentialed.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families; participate in quality initiatives.
• Contribute to clinical research activities when indicated.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
