Job summary

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/PA to provide expert patient care in an outpatient setting at Lake Mary. Under physician supervision, you will perform exams, write orders, conduct rounds, and support perioperative care in a premier orthopedic practice.

The role requires nursing or PA training, board certification, Florida APRN or PA licensure, and current BLS; specialty experience is preferred and you will collaborate with surgeons and the care team.

Qualifications

• MN, MSN, DNP, PhD or DNS in nursing.
• Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
• APRN license in Florida with national certification and current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care under physician supervision, including exams, orders and perioperative support.
• Perform daily rounds and document findings, initiate therapeutic actions and coordinate care.
• Scrub with supervising surgeon in operating room and assist with postoperative care and procedures.
