Job summary

SSM Health SLUCare Physician Group - Orthopedics in St. Louis, MO is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our total joint reconstruction team of two orthopedic surgeons and an APP. The position offers weekday hours, no call, and strong physician mentorship in a setting with full support staff.

Clinicians will see new and established patients, perform joint injections as needed, and enjoy autonomy with a patient-focused, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred; new grads with ortho rotation welcome.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant.
• RN/NP licensure in Missouri or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• See new and established patients in clinic.
• Perform joint injections when appropriate.
• Work with two orthopedic surgeons and APP with strong mentorship.
• No call/night/weekend shifts and a full support staff in place.

SSM Health SLUCare Physician Group - Orthopedics Orthopedic Services | St. Louis, MO (1031 Bellevue Ave.) | SSM Health located on the campus of SSM Health St. Marys Hospital, is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to work in collaboration with and support our total joint reconstruction team of two orthopedic surgeons and one APP. SLUCare orthopedic surgeonsspecialize in surgical and non-surgical treatment of muscular and skeletal diseases and injuries. Our team offers joint replacement, sports medicine, shoulder surgery, spinal surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand surgery and surgery of the upper extremities. Our team also treats bone cancer, orthopedic trauma and pediatric disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule is Monday-Friday business hours.
• No call/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Clinical responsibilities seeing new and established patients.
• Ability to perform joint injections.
• Strong onboarding and physician mentorship.
• Full support staff in place including MA.
• Mission-driven, patient-focused culture.

Qualifications:

• Orthopedic Surgery practice experience preferred.

• Certified nurse practitioner or certified physician assistant.
