Job summary

Arizona Pain Doctors in Glendale, AZ seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative outpatient practice. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no nights or weekends, working with physicians to manage chronic pain and improve quality of life.

You will evaluate patients, review imaging, develop treatment plans, order tests, and educate patients on outcomes while maintaining EMR documentation and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as NP or PA in Arizona.
• Experience in pain management or outpatient clinics preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations.
• Review imaging and diagnostic studies.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications and therapies per guidelines.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pain Management

Glendale, AZ | Full-Time flexible schedule

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations


• Review imaging and diagnostic studies


• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions


• Develop individualized treatment plans


• Order and interpret diagnostic testing


• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines


• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and expected outcomes


• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation


• Respond to patient questions and care-related messages


• Collaborate closely with physicians regarding interventional pain management procedures


• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving quality of life

What We're Looking For

• Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing


• Active DEA and CDS licenses


• Previous Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred


• Pain management, neurology, spine, or outpatient clinic experience preferred


• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team


• EMR proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office


• Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
