Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) for a full-time role in our Cicero, IL clinic. The APP will work with a team to deliver high-quality urgent and primary care within the approved scope, including patient education and care coordination.

The position favors candidates with ER/UC exposure and current licensure, with the ability to collaborate across providers. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Board certification through ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA.
• Active PA or NP licensure in the state, plus DEA number and controlled substances certificate.
• 1 year ER/UC experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive health histories and perform physical exams.
• Develop medical assessments and order appropriate tests.
• Provide diagnoses and institute treatment or referrals as needed.
• Stabilize patients in emergencies and provide guidance on care.

Skills

Board Certified (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA)

Licensure (PA/NP) + DEA
