Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Doctoral degree with residency or fellowship, or licensed therapist with 30 hours of continuing competence in differential diagnosis.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
• Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients, develops and initiates a treatment plan based on evaluation results.
• Performs comprehensive evaluation and documents findings, progress and instructions.
• Assists Level III PTs and leadership with program development and serves as a resource to staff.
• Provides training and guidance to students and interns and mentors staff and trainees.
• Ensures safe care and maintains compliance with Memorial Hermann policies.
