Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CPT License.
• Current BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Procure blood samples from patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Preserve integrity of specimens and properly transport, process, and prepare all samples.
• Assist with clerical functions such as answering telephone inquiries and disseminating laboratory reports.
• Communicate with referral laboratories used by the department.
