Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our retail pharmacies. Under supervision, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap and participate in activities and KLEs to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced, patient‑centered environment.

You will assist with dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization support, while learning store, district, and regional operations and maintaining adherence to SOPs and regulatory

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment required.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed by the store schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe and prompt prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and demonstrate empathy in patient interactions.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision by a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by state regulations.
