Job summary

St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician to support nurses and deliver patient-centered care.

You will perform advanced clinical tasks, monitor patients, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected. You will observe patients, document changes, assist with daily needs, and provide care such as phlebotomy and wound management under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• BLS/ CPR certification required within 30 days of start date.
• No travel required.
• 6 months experience required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate with the nursing team.
• Assist patients with daily activities (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
• Provide advanced care including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV line and catheter removal, and wound care.
• Assist with collecting lab samples and support clerical duties to keep care running smoothly.
• Anticipate patient needs and respond quickly to ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
