Sustainable Wellness Solutions in Sacramento County seeks a Patients’ Rights Advocate II to represent behavioral health clients, manage complex hearings, and conduct rights investigations across facilities and community locations.

You will provide training, document cases, and coordinate with PRA Lead and Program Director while traveling throughout Sacramento County. This is a non-supervisory, advanced-level role emphasizing client-directed advocacy, confidentiality, and strict timelines.

Formación

• Minimum of two years in patients’ rights advocacy or related client services.
• Working knowledge of California patients’ rights protections and related codes.
• Ability to manage complex hearings and investigations independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to represent clients in hearings.

Responsabilidades

• Represent clients at hearings and advocate for their expressed wishes.
• Independently prepare for complex hearings and investigations.
• Receive, investigate, and escalate complaints within defined timelines.
• Monitor facilities for rights notification compliance and report violations.
• Provide staff training on patients’ rights and mental health law.
• Maintain confidential case documentation and accurate timekeeping.
• Travel throughout Sacramento County to perform fieldwork.
