Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth, TX is hiring an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nurses in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. You will observe patients, assist with daily activities, and help provide advanced care under supervision.

The role requires BCLS within 30 days, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days, CNA or CPCT/A certification, and phlebotomy or ECG/EKG certification.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• CNA or CPCT/A certification is required.
• Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or ECG/EKG Technician certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team.
• Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and wound care.
• Assist with collecting lab samples and clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Anticipate patient needs to ensure a seamless and compassionate experience.
