St. David's South Austin Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare, is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nurses and deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with ADLs, observe and report patient changes, and perform tasks such as phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV and catheter care, and wound management. • BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required for this position.
• Experience as a PCT not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate with the nursing team.
• Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) and mobility support.
• Provide advanced care including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV/catheter care, and wound care.
• Assist with collecting lab samples and clerical duties to support care continuity.
• Anticipate patient needs and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
