Job summary

Intel Corporation in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support substrate production lines within the APTDSWA facility. You will ensure operational health, stability, and optimization, collaborating with engineers on routine and nonstandard technical challenges while advancing your career in semiconductor packaging technology.

The role operates on Shift 5: 6:00 AM – 6:18 PM on an alternating weekly schedule, with a focus on safety, continuous learning, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in a STEM field related to semiconductor manufacturing or a STEM (operator) field; no experience required with that degree.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years of related hands-on experience or military technical experience, and 1+ year of related equipment maintenance experience, or a technical certification.
• Preferred qualifications include 6+ months of electronics equipment troubleshooting, installation, and repair; experience with semiconductor manufacturing technology; and Emergency Response Team (ERT) training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate live operating data to make real-time adjustments for peak efficiency and quality.
• Conduct tool setups, calibrations, and preventative maintenance; troubleshoot complex equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with Module Engineering to perform experiments, implement hardware/software configuration changes, and support data collection.
• Oversee the shift qualification pipeline, including buddy, trainer, and certifier levels; maintain up-to-date training manuals.
• Maintain safety by participating in shift safety forums and serving on the onsite Emergency Response Team (ERT).
