Intel Corporation in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support substrate production lines within the APTDSWA facility. Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in a STEM field related to semiconductor manufacturing or a STEM (operator) field; no experience required with that degree.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years of related hands-on experience or military technical experience, and 1+ year of related equipment maintenance experience, or a technical certification.
• Preferred qualifications include 6+ months of electronics equipment troubleshooting, installation, and repair; experience with semiconductor manufacturing technology; and Emergency Response Team (ERT) training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate live operating data to make real-time adjustments for peak efficiency and quality.
• Conduct tool setups, calibrations, and preventative maintenance; troubleshoot complex equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with Module Engineering to perform experiments, implement hardware/software configuration changes, and support data collection.
• Oversee the shift qualification pipeline, including buddy, trainer, and certifier levels; maintain up-to-date training manuals.
• Maintain safety by participating in shift safety forums and serving on the onsite Emergency Response Team (ERT).

You will manage tasks ranging from standard daily operations to complex, nonstandard technical challenges. Shift Information

This role operates on Shift 5: 6:00 AM – 6:18 PM on an alternating weekly schedule: Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate live operating data to make real-time adjustments, ensuring processes run at peak efficiency and quality.
• Conduct tool setups, calibrations, and scheduled preventative maintenance; troubleshoot complex equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate closely with Module Engineering to execute critical experiments, implement hardware/software configuration changes, and support data collection.
• Manage the shift qualification pipeline by overseeing the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels, and keep technical training manuals updated with the latest procedures.
• Maintain a focus on safety by actively participating in shift safety forums and serving on the onsite Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

• An applicant must meet one of the following criteria: An Associate degree in a STEM field related to semiconductor manufacturing (e.g., MET) or a STEM (operator) field. No experience is required with this degree.
• OR a High School Diploma or GED, plus one of the following: 2+ years of related hands‑on experience or military technical experience. 1+ year of related equipment maintenance experience. A technical certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in: Electronics equipment troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing technology.
• Active Emergency Response Team (ERT) training or certification.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $60,450.00-85,340.00 USD (Hourly Role) The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Our standard technician starting rates are based on your location and shift schedule.
