Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions. You will mentor peers, automate processes, and ensure governance, security, and reliability across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and more.

You will lead technical initiatives, collaborate with department leaders and IT peers, and continuously drive improvements in efficiency and platform maturity while working remotely within approved states.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Microsoft 365 product administration experience.
• Advanced administration across Microsoft 365: SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Entra ID.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Automation development using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, or Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions with governance and security.
• Lead technical implementation efforts for Modern Workplace initiatives.
• Liaise with stakeholders and IT peers to align initiatives with priorities.
• Develop automation and admin tooling using PowerShell, Graph, and APIs.
• Troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 platform issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Represent Modern Workplace Engineering in key forums and maintain credibility.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve processes.
• Research unfamiliar technologies and recommend solid approaches.
