Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Advanced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) at the Salisbury VA Medical Center or satellite testing sites.

This role is within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, with appointments at remote testing locations as assigned. Candidates must meet the basic requirements and grade determinations for GS-07, including relevant certification and experience.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship required; non-citizens may be appointed only as VA policy allows.
• English language proficiency in spoken and written form is required.
• Education must meet certification requirements for medical laboratory technology.
• Certification: current MLT certification from ASCP, AMT or ABT/ABAnalytics.
• Foreign education acceptable if you hold a current certification per VA rules.
