AMSAs provide administrative patient support within an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, accurate care for Veterans. These roles involve coordinating clinic utilization, preparing clinic setups, communicating with patients and care teams, processing secure messages, tracking follow-ups, and supporting pre-visit

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Coordinates with the patient care team to review clinic utilization using various reports.
• Ensures clinic setup is monitored to support the clinic needs and makes adjustments.
• Develops and maintains communication with the patient, interdisciplinary team, VA centers, and other agencies.
• Facilitates/processes secure messaging with the patient and team; notifies patients of normal lab results.
• Develops and manages a tracking system for follow up care (consults, tests, etc.).
• Monitors pre-appointment requirements to assure readiness for visits/procedures.
