The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (MSA) position serves as the advanced Clerk for all Medical Support Assistant (MSA) roles and is a foundational position within Primary Care. The Advanced MSA provides administrative support and collaborates with patient aligned care teams (PACT), which include physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other team members.

Grade Determinations:
For GS-06, one year of experience at GS-5 level is required, including scheduling, appointment management, data verification, and basic eligibility processing.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities include collaboration, prioritization, communication, and advanced knowledge of healthcare processes, policies, procedures, and medical terminology.
