Job summary

Motor Coach Industries (MCI) is hiring Mechanics across multiple skill levels to diagnose, repair, and maintain advanced engine and electrical systems on motor coaches. The role demands strong diagnostic abilities, hands-on repairs, and leadership to mentor helpers and junior technicians.

CDL with endorsements and HV safety training are preferred. On-site work in a fast-growing electrified mobility environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of automotive/diesel related experience.
• CDL with Air and Passenger endorsements preferred but not required.
• HV Safety Certification and HV Maintenance/Repair Training highly desired for hybrids/electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a range of engine types including diesel, electric, and hydrogen fuel cell engines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Mechanic Helpers and IV team members.
• Maintain and repair electrical and pneumatic systems, chassis, doors, seating, and body components as part of routine service.
• Perform advanced maintenance tasks such as transmission work, lubrication, and component replacements.
• Ensure safety standards and use of PPE in all maintenance activities.
