Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a technically strong Program/Capture Manager, Associate Director to lead capture and execution of Advanced Materials R&D programs for customers like DARPA, AFRL, and ONR. This onsite role supports AMTT and reports across multiple sites including McKinney, TX.

You will lead teams to shape winning proposals, collaborate with government and industry partners, and mentor staff to deliver ceramic, metallic, and composite enabling technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 12+ years in chemical or materials engineering.
• Experience in capture management and/or managing technology development programs.
• Relationship or network with U.S. Government R&D organizations, labs, FFRDCs, industry, and academia.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams in developing concepts addressing customer technology needs and warfighter gaps.
• Lead cross-functional teams in creating white papers and winning proposals.
• Lead program teams in successful execution of technology-focused contracts.
• Build relationships with customers, competitors, industry partners, and government organizations to gather business intelligence and shape winning teams.
• Develop internal investment projects (IRAD) to strengthen new opportunities and execution.
• Support AMTT Director in strategy, budgets, and communications.
• Mentor and train employees to foster an innovative, high-performing team.
• Attend technical conferences and meetings; travel as required.
