Job summary

Axalta in Brighton, MI seeks a Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing) to support daily plant operations, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including pumps, valves, piping, boilers, and instrumentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime/weekends may be required; teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with electrical and pneumatic controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance inspections, calibrations, and repairs on plant electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Calibrate and repair instrumentation and interlocks.
• Complete preventative and reactive maintenance work orders and document activities.
