Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Plymouth, MI seeks a Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to read electrical schematics and lift up to 75 lbs. PLC/HVAC and welding are preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and overtime, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
• Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
