Job summary

Axalta in Brighton, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing) to support daily operations, maintain and repair equipment including tank mixers, pumps, valves, piping, boilers and instrumentation.

Shift: Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with occasional overtime. Requires high school diploma and 2 years' maintenance experience; electrical and pneumatic controls preferred. Benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical and pneumatic controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance inspections and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Calibrate and repair instrumentation such as flow meters and sensors.
• Complete work orders, preventative and reactive, per priorities.
• Maintain work logs, parts inventory, and maintenance records.
• Assist with engineering projects including layout and design.
• Install new equipment or upgrades and keep a safe work environment.
