Job summary

Divergent is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist to maintain and improve our CNC machines, robotics, and automation systems. You will develop maintenance strategies, diagnose complex failures, and implement corrective actions to maximize machine availability and production throughputs.

The role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement to meet AS9100/IATF 16949 standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or an Associate’s degree with equivalent maintenance technician experience.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machine tools, industrial robotics, and automated manufacturing systems.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across multiple disciplines.
Experience with CNC controls, PLCs, industrial robots, motion control, and automated machine systems.

Responsibilities

Own the performance and reliability of advanced manufacturing equipment; develop maintenance strategies and improvements.
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, and robotics failures; determine root causes and corrective actions.
Analyze equipment performance and maintenance history to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot PLC logic, CNC controls, robot programs, and safety systems to enhance system performance.
Interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and control architectures to solve technical problems.
