Job summary

The Judge Group is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader - tooling in Muskegon, MI. The role focuses on leading tooling engineering initiatives, providing technical leadership across manufacturing areas, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering, CAD and blueprint-reading skills, and experience with time study-based labor standards and Kaizen methodologies in industrial sectors such as automotive or aerospace.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required.
• Leadership of cross-functional product teams is preferred.
• Experience in Continuous Improvement, Waste Elimination and Kaizen.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (5 Why, A3 thinking).
• Ability to read blueprints and use CAD.
• Financial literacy and ability to analyze time studies for labor standards.

Location: Muskegon (Charter Township), MI

Salary: $140,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader- tooling

• BS in Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in engineering, including experience in new product launches in industrial/automotive/aerospace industries
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional product teams
• Experience in Continuous Improvement, Waste Elimination and Kaizen
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, (5 Why, Trucker’s Log, A3 Thinking), community, interpersonal, organization and negotiation skills
• Excellent leadership skills that create an engaged employee environment
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and employees
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience with CAD
• Ability to analyze time studies to set labor standards, mechanical ability that would allow the search for new and better equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to the manufacturing areas
• Experience in the investment casting industry
• Good financial literacy
