Job summary

Allor Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes, leveraging Siemens NX CAD to develop tooling and fixtures. The role focuses on translating engineering definitions into robust production processes and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The candidate will work onsite in Michigan, collaborate across departments, and contribute to quality systems and control plans while troubleshooting and mentoring.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent education required.

Responsibilities

• Self-manage short- and long-term projects with internal and vendor coordination.

• Develop and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
• Provide technical support to production and the supply base.

Job description

This position will be onsite and based in Michigan. The position requires a professional capable of participating in selecting tooling, gaging, and developing processes to ensure parts are manufactured on time with the highest quality by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Self-manage short- and long-term projects, including interacting with internal department and vendors
• Design manufacturing processes based on existing stable processes
• Identify and implement engineering definition and contractual flow down requirements effectively into manufacturing processes
• Identify potential improvements with impact analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Design and maintain characteristic accountability plan for legacy and new products
• Design work holding for manufacturing and test applications
• Generate clear and concise standard work instructions
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of the organization
• Provide technical support to production and supply base

Requirements:

• BSME or similar educational background
• Experience/Interest in conventional & non-conventional machining, chemical processing, non-destructive testing, and heat treatment preferred
• Must be an independent learner, able to perform value added research & investigation
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Working knowledge of quality systems and control plans
• High level of analytical ability
• Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting aptitude
• Capable of becoming a strong individual contributor
• Proficiency with CAD systems, Siemens NX preferred
