Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead multiple projects within the Thermal BU, focusing on Ironton OH operations and supporting growth through NPDI, product transfers, and process standardization across Vertiv plants.

This onsite role will collaborate with Design Engineering, Program Management and Operations to drive capital projects, cost analyses, and manufacturing readiness. Travel ~25% to site facilities in OH and related plants is expected.

Qualifications

• BSME/IE/Operations Management with 3–5 years manufacturing experience.
• MSME/IE/MBA preferred with 5+ years Advanced Manufacturing experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Line of Business Leaders to align manufacturing plans with Product Roadmaps.
• Manage End of Line Testing Equipment, Parameters, scripts and Capex.
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans for new products under NPDI program.
• Support plant-to-plant product transfers and NPDI milestones and deliverables.
• Provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support and standard processes across Vertiv plants.
