Trace-A-Matic in Wisconsin seeks an experienced CNC programmer/Manufacturing Engineer to plan machining sequences and develop routings and tooling plans that ensure quality and throughput.

You will program CNC mills and lathes (3–5 axis), troubleshoot issues, create/revise drawings, and drive cost and cycle-time reductions through value engineering. A BS in Engineering and 7+ years in manufacturing are preferred; on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years in manufacturing preferred.
• GD&T mastery and hands-on proficiency with CNC tooling and troubleshooting.
• CNC programming, CAD/CAM, G-code, M-code; setup and changeover.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining sequences and operations from orders and drawings.
• Develop routings, op sheets, tooling plans, and process docs to ensure quality and throughput.
• Program CNC mills and lathes (3–5 axis) to meet dimensional, finish, and timing requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining and tooling issues; participate on MRB boards.
• Create or revise manufacturing drawings using CAD methods; value-engineer to reduce cost and lead time.
