Job summary

B&T USA in Herriman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, qualify, and industrialize products and processes, combining mechanical design, additive manufacturing, and CNC operations. You will own projects from concept through validation, partnering with operations, quality, and product development to deliver safe, repeatable, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3-5 years in precision manufacturing including additive manufacturing and CNC machining.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar 3D CAD software; experience preparing models for additive manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components, assemblies, tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices using 3D CAD; emphasize AM-enabled designs.
• Lead additive manufacturing applications from opportunity to production release.
• Apply design for additive manufacturing to consolidate parts and reduce weight and lead time.
• Define and validate complete additive workflows including handling, heat treatment, post-processing, inspection, and traceability.
• Develop, document, validate, and improve manufacturing processes from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with Quality to establish control plans and inspection methods.
