Job summary

B&T USA in Herriman, UT seeks a Manufacturing Engineer who will design, develop, qualify production processes, and integrate additive manufacturing with CNC machining and conventional methods.

You will own projects from concept to validation, collaborating with operations, quality, supply chain and product development to deliver safe, traceable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions at the Herriman facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in a precision manufacturing environment with AM/CNC.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or AutoCAD; ability to read and create engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes, materials, and post-processing.

Responsibilities

• Design components, fixtures, and tooling using 3D CAD with AM focus.
• Lead additive manufacturing applications from opportunity to production release.
• Apply design for additive manufacturing to consolidate parts and reduce weight.
• Evaluate materials, build orientation, and post-processing strategies for metal and polymer AM.
• Define complete additive workflows including heat treatment, support removal, and inspection.
• Create drawings, BOMs, process plans, routings, and inspection strategies.
• Support new product development from concept through production launch.
• Optimize CNC milling/turning for quality and throughput.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for yield and process issues.
