Job summary

Bob Evans Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshoot, repair, and support infrastructure, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, and rigging.

Strong safety and OSHA knowledge are required; candidate should have 2+ years of experience and an associate degree or technical certificate in Mechanics and Electronics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical certificate in Mechanics and Electronics or related field.
• Two years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fluid power, PLCs, welding, robotics, rigging, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and interpret technical manuals.
• Experience with motor controllers, low voltage systems, proximity sensors, and VFDs.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and testing of systems.
• Work with team leads to implement process improvements.
• Complete work orders accurately and keep records up to date.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Attend off-site training as required.
