Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with maintenance experience (3+, 5+ or 3+ yrs with tech school)
• Journeyman’s Card preferred if available
• CMMS experience or familiarity beneficial for inside/outside candidates
• Proven communication and reading of mechanical/electrical drawings required

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and directed
• Performs on-site service and repair of equipment
• Meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times
• Collaborates with other departments
• Follows OSHA, EPA and company safety practices
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• May train other employees
• Possible Team Lead duties if no tech III available
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings and manuals
• Adhere to safety, housekeeping and PPE requirements
• Notify EHS for hazardous waste questions
• Manage waste generated from work
• Other duties as assigned
