Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge in Vail, CO is seeking an experienced Advanced Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems across the property. This hands-on role requires pride in reliable, well-documented work and a problem-solving mindset to keep guests and team members comfortable.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HVAC, mechanical, or general maintenance experience, including work on boilers and chillers.
• Construction or building trades experience (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or general contracting) preferred.
• Has or able to obtain EPA 608 certification
• Has or is able to obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
• Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to maximize reliability and equipment life.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing system issues.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, fan coil units, make-up air units, water heaters, and associated building systems.
• Support mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment at Golden Peak in addition to the Manor Vail Lodge property.
• Complete work orders accurately and on time, documenting labor, materials, and equipment history.
• Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to support repairs and projects.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
