Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. in California is seeking a skilled journeyman-level technician to repair and maintain production and facility equipment. You will handle new installations, perform preventative maintenance, and read mechanical/electrical prints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in related field; beverage experience a plus.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Computer literacy with MS Office; MP2 software and PLC experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and training.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Must be 18+ and pass background/drug test.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain high-speed production equipment.
• Perform changeovers and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Apply basic electrical skills and read mechanical/electrical prints.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA training.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Respond to line supervisor or operator repair requests.
• Install or rebuild equipment and troubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Lead and resolve complex technical problems.
• Coordinate multiple projects with shifting priorities.
