Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install, maintain and repair highly automated manufacturing equipment. You will participate in calibration, problem solving, and daily setup to support production goals.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, troubleshooting ability, and adherence to ISO standards and safety procedures. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in a highly automated manufacturing, lean manufacturing/continuous flow operations

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain detailed understanding of processes and equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment mechanically and electrically.
• Perform minor electronic repair and calibration; ensure proper daily setup and calibration.
• Troubleshoot equipment process and product problems with teams, management, and outside vendors.
• Execute maintenance aligned with production plans; manage work orders for timely completion while maintaining quality.
• Maintain inventory, tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure throughput.
• Enter and analyze maintenance data and track activities using maintenance management software.
• Support facility management and maintain open communication with staff.
• Follow ISO standards for calibration logs and maintain records.
• Assist to meet production goals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
