Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to repair, maintain and install plant machinery, ensuring peak production and quality while controlling costs.

The role requires strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systems, plus proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. Candidates should have five years in manufacturing and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Technical School or equivalent job-related experience.
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Plastics manufacturing knowledge and computer literacy with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Basic math, strong written and verbal communication and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance and installation of plant machinery, tools and equipment.
• Support production goals with high quality and efficiency.
• Maintain equipment safely and at minimal cost.
• Troubleshoot machine maintenance issues.
• Promote and follow EHS and Quality guidelines.
• Operate around moving equipment and manage physical demands; lift, stand, bend, push/pull as needed.
