Job summary

Sonoco in Tiffin, OH is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician II-III. The role supports maximum plant reliability, performing proactive maintenance, root cause analysis, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.

Work is in a 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) with wage range $32.15–$44.19 plus $0.75 shift differential. Minimum high school diploma; Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in using a CMMS for maintenance workflows.
• Perform electrical work in compliance with NFPA 70E standards.
• Welding and mechanical fabrication as location needs.
• Proficient in MS Office and data documentation.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Set safety standards, promote safe behavior, and identify risks to co-workers as part of the safety improvement process.
