Job summary

Cenveo, a leading envelope manufacturer in North America, is hiring Advanced Machine Operators (Machine Adjuster Level 1) for our Chicopee, MA facility on the 3rd shift.

Candidates should have hands‑on experience with equipment setup, changeovers, troubleshooting and maintaining efficient production operations. The role offers $22–24/hr plus a $2/hr 3rd shift premium, with 3rd shift 11pm–7am and occasional first-shift training; Saturdays may be required during peak production.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on mechanical, industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to independently set up, troubleshoot, repair, optimize machinery.
• Experience with equipment setup, changeovers, and timing.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment.
• Learn print, window, and full machine changeovers, including part removal/installation and machine timing.
• Develop advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills to support quality and production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures.
• Work overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring immediately Advanced Machine Operators (Machine Adjuster Level 1) for our Chicopee, MA location on 3rd shift.

Candidates must have experience with equipment setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintaining efficient production operations.

We welcome applications from skilled automotive technicians with hands-on experience in engine and transmission repair / replacement.

Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs and availability.

Pay & Work Schedule

• $22 - 24/hr depending on experience + 3rd shift premium $2/hr.
• 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am; Training may be on 1st shift 7am - 3pm.
• Monday -- Friday; Saturdays required during peak production or as business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on mechanical, industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Proven ability to independently set up, troubleshoot, repair, optimize machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, basic computer skills.
• Basic math, ability to accurately read a ruler, and work with precise measurements.
• Flexibility required with machine assignment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
• Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, etc.).
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
• Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
• Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.
