Job summary

Cenveo in Chicago, IL is hiring Skilled Machine Operators (Machine Adjuster Level 1). This is a highly technical role requiring hands-on mechanical experience with machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting and equipment adjustments.

The position offers $22/hr or higher plus a $2/hr third shift premium, with 3rd shift 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday, overtime and Saturdays as needed, and potential advancement to Machine Adjuster.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on mechanical/industrial experience.
• Proven ability to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer, math, and measurement skills, including reading a ruler accurately.
• Flexibility to work on various machine platforms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment.
• Learn machine timing, part installation/removal, and complete product changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support production quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures.

Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring Skilled Machine Operators (Machine Adjuster Level 1) for our Chicago, IL facility.

This is a highly technical role requiring hands‑on mechanical experience. Candidates should have experience with machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments.

Automotive technicians with engine and transmission repair experience are encouraged to apply.

Schedule & Pay

• $22/hr or higher depending on experience + $2/hr 3rd shift premium
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM; Flexibility to train on any shift
• Monday-Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed

What You'll Do
