Job summary

Cenveo in Chicopee, MA is hiring an Advanced Machine Operator (Machine Adjuster Level 1) to join a highly technical team in a manufacturing environment. You will learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope equipment, perform changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and support quality and efficiency on the line.

The role offers 3rd shift work (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a $2/hr premium, plus potential advancement to higher pay tiers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on mechanical, industrial, automotive, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong ability to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment.
• Basic computing, math and measurement skills, including reading a ruler.
• Flexibility to work on various machine platforms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment.
• Learn machine timing, part installation/removal, and complete product changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support production quality and efficiency.

Description

Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring Advanced Machine Operators (Machine Adjuster Level 1) for our Chicopee, MA facility.
This is a highly technical role requiring hands‑on mechanical experience.
Candidates should have experience with machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments.
Automotive technicians with engine and transmission repair experience are encouraged to apply.
Schedule & Pay
Hourly Pay: $22-24 depending on experience + 3rd shift premium
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (+$2/hr shift premium)
Training may be on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Monday‑Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs.
Comfortable working around high-speed production equipment, noise, and manufacturing materials.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain alert throughout the shift.
