Job summary

Cenveo in Kirksville, MO is seeking Advanced Machine Operators to join our high-speed envelope manufacturing team. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience, machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and precise equipment adjustments.

You will learn to operate and time equipment, perform part installations, complete product changeovers, and support quality and efficiency while maintaining a safe workplace and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on mechanical or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with setup, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Job description

Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring Advanced Machine Operators for our Kirksville, MO facility.

This is a highly technical role requiring hands‑on mechanical experience. Candidates should have experience with machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments.

Automotive technicians with engine and transmission repair experience are encouraged to apply.

Schedule & Pay

• $23.94/hr + 2nd or 3rd shift premium
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (+$1.25/hr)
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (+$1.50/hr)
• Training on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Monday-Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed
• Opportunity for advancement to Machine Adjuster with increased earning potential.

What You'll Do

• Learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment.
• Learn machine timing, part installation/removal, and complete product changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support production quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands‑on mechanical, industrial, automotive, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven ability to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer, math, and measurement skills, including reading a ruler accurately.
• Flexibility to work on various machine platforms as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Comfortable working around high-speed production equipment, noise, and manufacturing materials.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain alert throughout the shift.
