Job summary

GE Aerospace in Evendale, OH, is seeking an Advanced Lead Producibility & Manufacturing Engineer to ensure manufacturability of new jet engine designs. You will lead producibility reviews, align tolerances with process capability, and collaborate across design, quality, materials, and manufacturing teams. Requires a Bachelor's in Manufacturing or Engineering and 3+ years of experience (or 8+ years with HS diploma). U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/engineering experience; or 8+ years with a HS diploma/GED.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship not provided.
• Experience with reading drawings and GD&T is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead producibility reviews and provide redlines to drawings/models to align tolerances with process capability and inspection strategies.
• Collaborate with design, quality, materials and manufacturing to define requirements and standards for new designs.
• Industrialize designs with TRL/MRL ownership and work with internal factories and suppliers to ensure manufacturability.
