Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Five years of journey-level experience with installation, repair, maintenance and operation of pneumatic and DDC instrumentation and control systems.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with electronic and pneumatic controls systems and components to maintain HVAC comfort control in university buildings.
• Leads work teams across multiple maintenance disciplines to resolve complex technical control system problems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and calibrates electronic and pneumatic controls and sensors.
• Renovates and upgrades control systems to provide efficient operation of HVAC equipment and improve building comfort.
• Keeps supervisors updated on daily work order status and communicates with customers.
• Maintains accurate records of materials used and documents all systems.
