Job summary

Hudson Technologies is seeking a Service Technician II for immediate hire to expand our U.S. field service team. You will perform a broad range of HVAC/R service and refrigerant recovery tasks with minimal supervision, while mentoring junior Tech I team members on the job.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of hands-on experience, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and a strong focus on safety and quality. Travel up to regionally 80% may be required, with comprehensive on-site leadership

Qualifications

1–3 years of hands-on HVAC/R field service experience.
EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
OSHA-10 safety training; OSHA-30 is a plus.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet DOT requirements for operating service vehicles.
Forklift certification required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

Perform routine service and refrigerant recovery on HVAC/R systems with minimal supervision.
Diagnose intermediate issues in chillers and refrigeration systems.
Assist with retrofit conversions or decontamination projects.
Coordinate on-site logistics and mentor Tech I on the job.
Communicate with customers to explain work and ensure satisfaction.
