Job summary

Hudson Technologies is seeking a Service Technician II for immediate hire to expand our U.S. field service team. This intermediate role involves independent on-site service, refrigerant recovery, and mentoring junior Tech I teammates.

Expect to diagnose and repair chillers and refrigeration systems, manage on-site logistics, and participate in complex projects. Travel is regional/national with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on HVAC/R field service experience.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required; OSHA-10 typical; OSHA-30 a plus.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and ability to read manuals/diagrams.
• Ability to mentor Tech I teammates and coordinate on-site logistics.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine service and refrigerant recovery with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot chiller/refrigeration issues and component faults.
• Assist with complex projects such as retrofits or decontamination procedures.
• Coordinate on-site logistics in absence of a supervisor/lead.
• Mentor Tech I staff and communicate progress to clients and managers.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on every job.
