Job summary

Hudson Technologies seeks a Field Service Recovery Technician for the NYC metro area. You will recover refrigerant from HVAC equipment, assist with cylinder exchanges at customer sites, and support depot activities to ensure smooth operations.

Requires EPA 608 Universal, 1+ year HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel/perform outdoor work. DOT Medical Card must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Min 1 year hands-on experience with HVAC/mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid and clean state driver’s license; DOT Medical Card required within 2 weeks of start.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel within the territory.
• Ability to use field devices and document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Effectively recover refrigerant from equipment at job sites using recovery machines and cylinders.
• Support cylinder exchanges at customer sites and assist depot activities.
• Provide timely job-progress updates and accurate documentation with customer sign-off.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment readiness; comply with DOT, EPA, OSHA regulations.
• Assist Sales/Account Managers to identify new recovery opportunities and grow the client base.
