Job summary

The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is seeking a Facilities Repair Worker- Advanced to maintain and repair building and grounds across the northwest region. The position will be headquartered in Chippewa Falls or Eau Claire and serve multiple state locations with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role includes a schedule of Monday through Thursday 6:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. with occasional overnight travel, year-round grounds and facility maintenance, and operation of

Qualifications

• Experience with grounds maintenance and landscaping.
• Towing and hauling trailers.
• Basic computer skills such as timecard entry, e-mail, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior building, facility, and grounds maintenance and repairs.
• Provide year-round grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and pest control as required.
• Operate and maintain maintenance vehicles, equipment, and attachments.
