Job summary

The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs in Chippewa Falls/Eau Claire is seeking a Facilities Repair Worker- Advanced. You will perform interior and exterior building, facility, and grounds maintenance and repairs across northwest locations.

Typical schedule is Monday through Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional overnight travel; starting pay is $24.90 per hour, with a 12-month probation and state benefits including substantial leave time and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with grounds maintenance and landscaping.
• Experience towing and hauling trailers.
• Basic computer skills such as timecard entry, e-mail, and Microsoft TEAMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior building, facility, and grounds maintenance and repairs.
• Operate maintenance vehicles and equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety practices and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
