Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Oregon is seeking a Project Engineer I to support construction and field execution on advanced facilities projects. You will apply construction fundamentals, company standards, and field tools to help deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

As part of the Advanced Facilities team, you’ll collaborate with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors, develop procurement logs, and prepare daily and weekly reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may travel.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and adjust to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Participates in construction and field execution tasks to support project delivery.
• Supports QA/QC planning and documentation on assigned tasks.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Prepares daily/weekly reports and maintains project documentation.
• Posts drawings and specs with latest information and coordinates with subcontractors.
• Provides procurement logs and tracks shop drawings and deliveries as directed.
