Job summary

• 12 months experience as an ED Technician or as a pre-hospital EMT
• CPR/BLS certification current or to be obtained within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients in the Emergency Department under nursing supervision
• Trains and precepts new ED Technicians and EMT/Paramedic students
• Mentors new hires and supports orientation and competency checks
• Processes orders and charges, restocks supplies, and participates in performance improvement activities
